These carpets invite you to lie down and take a nap. The nomadic tribes in the Atlas mountains of Morocco have been producing these naturally white, fluffy berber carpets for centuries. The carpets insulated the dwellings against the cold and made them homey. Jan Kath revived this ancient knotting tradition in Le Maroc Blanc.
