One of designer’s first projects, Cappellini's Big Shadow Floor Lamp is a combination of materials and innovative techniques. The structureis made of chrome varnished metal bar with a cover in white polyamide and viscose. Inspiration for these lamps can be found in abat-jour table lamps, revisited here in a contemporary key with the fabric covering not just the upper part of the lamp, but also the base, to create a warm and cozy light source.
