LC6 Table By Cassina

The base of this LC 6 table from Cassina has four supporting points with steel threaded shanks, permitting height adjustment up to 2”. The Carrara top with ivory enameled base makes this table a versatile kitchen or dining table. Please note condition of this table.*

The base of this table was designed in 1928 using the ovoidal profiles adopted in aviation to maintain separate the wings of biplanes. The version presented at the Salon d’Automne in 1929 had a rose coloured printed glass top and a green base; later, Charlotte Perriand developed, among other versions, also a model with a blue top and an ivory colored base.

Made in Italy and measures: 88.6 l'' x 33.5" W x 27-29'' h (height is adjustable).

Mexique 527-2 By Cassina

Designed by Charlotte Perriand, Mexique table was included as one of the tables en forme libre created between 1938 and 1939, the final design was developed in 1952 for the students’ rooms of the Maison du Mexique at the Cité Universitaire Internationale in Paris. 

With a frame designed to be as compact as possible, the tables are meant to be juxtaposed to create larger, symmetrical units. This version has matte lacquered wood top is a generous depth to allow for intimate dining — great for a breakfast nook or overflow in family and living spaces.
